Lower Dove
This stretch of the River Dove is between Rocester and Uttoxeter, upstream of the confluence with the River Churnet. The stretch on The Dove is just a few hundred yards of single (right) bank, but offers some fine fishing in both riffles and deep pools. The fishing also includes a good stretch of the River Churnet. A good option is to start at the confluence and fish up the Dove to the first weir, then cross the field and fish back down the Churnet to your starting point.
There is a restriction on how many rods can fish this stretch at any time, and for how long. For details, see the Handbook in the Members section. Members must observe these arrangements and strictly observe the limits of the beat.
