Join

Full membership is open to any individual over the age of 16 who is interested in promoting the aims of the Association.  Applicants should be proposed by at least two members.  If you don’t know any existing members, you can apply by submitting a personal resume to the secretary.

With the interest of our rivers at heart, membership is limited and there is usually a waiting list.  Whilst the waiting time varies from year to year, it is not unusual for applicants to be offered a place in the season after that in which they applied.

Applicants may be asked to pay a deposit to secure a place on the waiting list, which then goes towards a joining fee once membership is offered and accepted.  This arrangement helps us ensure the list is kept current and that applicants are genuinely interested in joining.
